Public Spaces

We specialise in community art, creating sculpture for parks, offices, housing projects, village greens, hospitals, play areas, and more.
We can help with commissioning, funding, and managing projects whether large or small. If you're not quite sure what you want, we can help with that, too.
Examples of our work can be seen in many high-profile places around the UK, including:

  • Sutton Hoo
  • Glastonbury Festival
  • Lee Valley Park
  • Blackthorp Barn

Private Commissions

A lot of our work is in creating distinctive, individual sculptures for people.
This could be a figurative work, such as an animal, a bird, or a dragon. It could be a functional piece, like a chair, a table, or a bench, or something larger like an arch, a bridge, or a pergola for a garden. We have also created many unique memorial benches, with or without carved lettering.
If you have a tree to be felled, we can use the stump or the trunk and branches to create something quite special, following your ideas and vision. We are happy to discuss the details, designs, timelines, and costs.

Workshops and Demonstrations

We’ve been organising, managing, and running workshops, demonstrations, and art installations at festivals, schools, and in the community for more than thirty years.
We create seated storytelling areas, climbing frames, play equipment, and much more. We also work with willow, ash, and hazel to create domes and archways as living, growing sculpture.
We can run workshops (children or adults) to teach and collaborate on your piece, or we can build it for you.
Our chainsaw carving demonstrations have been featured every year at Suffolk’s Weird and Wonderful Wood since it’s inception thirty years ago.

The Artists

Our carvers are part of the Hearts Of Oak Organisation CIC.
They each have their own self-built workshop space at our creative/artistic home, located in rural Suffolk. Heaven Sculpture Yard
The skills, experience, and vision of each artist can only be described as diverse, eclectic, and inspiring, just like the artists themselves! From tack hammers to tattoo guns, the wealth of knowledge and expertise they bring to carving is on full display in their works.
Grab a cuppa, get comfortable, and take a few moments to scroll through their galleries.
